The Health Sciences quarterly newsletter is intended to provide a forum for Faculty staff to share reports of their activities and to disseminate relevant information. A faculty information liaison group has been established with representatives in each Area to facilitate information exchange and to provide copy from the Areas for the newsletter. Contributions are invited.

The Faculty's web site is maintained as a source of information for staff, students and other visitors. It should be the first point of reference when seeking information about events, committee meetings and minutes, some resources and other general matters. Information for posting on Faculty Office web pages must be submitted via the Manager, Academic Affairs.

All general communication to the Faculty must be checked and/or disseminated by the Executive Assistant, on behalf of the Pro Vice-Chancellor.

Faculty Office staff meetings are held at 10.00 am on the fourth Wednesday of the month in the Boardroom. Organisation of all staff meetings, or dissemination of information to Faculty Office staff, is through the Executive Secretary.

Each semester, generally in one of the non-teaching weeks, the Pro Vice-Chancellor hosts a morning tea, to which all staff in the Faculty are invited. The event is to facilitate information exchange between the Faculty Office and the rest of the Faculty, and to provide another opportunity for networking with colleagues. All Faculty Office staff attend to meet, interact with, and respond to information requests from guests and to deal with any follow-up necessary.
