The Director, International Liaison has responsibility for co-ordinating and supporting the Faculty's international activities in close liaison with the Schools and for representing the Faculty's interests at central University forums. Before travelling overseas, staff are required to notify the Pro Vice-Chancellor regarding risk management and insurance and the Director who may be able to advise on value-adding opportunities for University-funded travel.

Representatives of Schools in the Faculty comprise membership of the committee which meets bi-monthly and is chaired by the Director, International Liaison. The committee's mission is to promote the Health Sciences Faculty internationally by attracting quality international students both undergraduate and graduate, and promoting staff and student visits/exchange in order to enhance understanding of the global community and to provide optimal international content in teaching and research appropriate to each School in the Faculty.
