Recognition Programs

Customer Services Program

The Faculty of Health Sciences is committed to developing a shared vision that supports the provision of high quality services to our students and clients. The Customer Services Program is an incentives program that recognises the quality of service provided by academic, general and technical staff. Heads nominate a staff member each quarter as their School/area customer service provider. Each nominee will receive a lunch for two at Kirribilli Cafe, Angazi Cafe or the Curtin Club Bistro. Nominated staff members will be eligible for selection as the Faculty's Customer Service Provider of the Year. The name of the Customer Service Provider of the Year will be recorded on an Honour Board to be displayed in the Faculty Boardroom and the staff member will receive a small gift of appreciation.

A email signature trailer has been developed for distribution to all staff for optional inclusion in email messages. The trailer notes the pride the Faculty takes in providing high quality service and invites clients to comment on service they have received from individual staff members. Positive comment will be recognised by the Pro Vice-Chancellor. The staff member will be eligible for selection as the Faculty's Customer Service Provider of the Year.

Excellence in Teaching Awards

The Health Sciences awards for Excellence in Teaching are awarded annually and aim to provide recognition and reward for outstanding performances, by both individuals and teams, in teaching and in enhancing student learning. Each of the EiT Awards has differing requirements and selection criteria. Applicants will need to refer to the appropriate templates for selection criteria, selection process and timelines.
