Accredited courses
Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics
This course is accredited with the Dietitians’ Association of Australia (DAA) and graduates are eligible to apply for membership as Accredited Practising Dietitians (APD).
Master of Environmental Health
The professional stream of this degree is accredited by Environmental Health Australia and the Western Australian Environmental Health Officers Professional Review Board.
Food Science and Technology
This is the only WA course accredited by the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, which is recognised worldwide.
Health Information Management
This is the only undergraduate course accredited in Australia by the Health Information Management Association of Australia. Graduates of the program are eligible for full membership with the professional association, which is also widely recognised internationally.
Laboratory Medicine
Graduates are are eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists.
Graduates are eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and membership of Occupational Therapy Australia and OT Australia WA. Registration for practice allows graduates to practise occupational therapy in all Australian states and territories. Graduates may also apply for registration in most countries, although some may involve sitting a licensing examination. The program is recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.
Oral Health Therapy
This course is accredited by the Australian Dental Council. Graduates of the program are eligible for registration with Dental Board of Australia and for membership of ADOHTA (the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ Association).
Psychology and Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations Double Degree
This course is internationally recognised, and accredited in Australia through the Australian Human Resources Institute. The psychology component is also accredited as a 3-year sequence of study in psychology by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).

The Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) are accredited by the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC).

Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
Graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Master of Nursing Practice
This course has been designed to meet the accreditation requirements and competencies of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to enable initial registration as a nurse. In order for you to be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse, you must complete this course within five years.
Graduates are eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and membership of Occupational Therapy Australia and OT Australia WA. Registration for practice allows graduates to practise occupational therapy in all Australian states and territories. Graduates may also apply for registration in most countries, although some may involve sitting a licensing examination. The program is recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.
Oral Health Therapy
Graduates are eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia. Registration permits oral health therapists to work in private practice and the school dental services.
Pharmacy
Graduates are recognised in Western Australia and elsewhere for registration as professional pharmacists. Pharmacists registered in Western Australia can practice anywhere in Australasia. After meeting certain requirements, registration is possible in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Physiotherapy
Graduates are eligible for registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board of Western Australia and membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. This course is also accredited by the Australian Council of Physiotherapy Regulating Authorities. Registration to practise in Western Australia enables graduates to register to practise in all Australian states and territories and in New Zealand. Graduates applying for licensure in the United States of America, the United Kingdom or Canada will be required to provide details of their program of studies to the relevant bodies and sit a licensing examination.
Psychology and Psychology (Honours)
Graduates are eligible for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Graduates are eligible for full registration after two years of Board approved supervised psychological practice (internship) or completion of a two-year APAC-accredited postgraduate coursework degree in psychology.
Master of Psychology (Counselling)/Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Graduates are eligible for full registration after completion of the Master of Psychology.

Psychology and Psychology (Honours)
Graduates are eligible to apply for associate membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). The standard route to the grade of Member requires successful completion of six years of accredited university training in psychology, through the attainment of an accredited four year sequence of undergraduate study in psychology, followed by completion of either an APAC-accredited postgraduate coursework degree in psychology (minimum of two years full-time), or a postgraduate research degree in psychology (minimum of two years full-time).
Graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. The program is recognised by the WA Society of Professional Social Workers and the International Federation of Social Workers and graduates can work in many countries.

Graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Society of Sexuality Educators Researchers and Therapists (ASSERT), which is affiliated to the World Association for Sexual Health. Graduates may obtain a specialist title as a Sexuality Therapist, Sexuality Educator, Sexuality Researcher and /or Forensic Sexologist through ASSERT after completion of supervision requirements. Requirements for such titles in other countries differ.

Graduate Diploma in Diabetes
