Simulation News

The School of Pharmacy has been successful in obtaining a grant from the WA Clinical Training Network. The grant will be used to develop the Medication Management Online Training Program.

Dr Laetitia Hattingh, Senior Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy, has been driving the project and filming of the simulated scenarios has commenced.

Tina Fernandes (social worker), Leanne (The Experience Lab), Claire Cooper (dietician), Alannah McCague (speech pathologist), Ben Ware (hospital pharmacist – Fiona Stanley Hospital), Leo Ng (physiotherapist), Robyn Della Franca (occupational therapist) and Jon Mould (nurse) prepare to film a simulated team meeting.

The school would sincerely like to thank Professor Phill Della and the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine, for use of the nursing simulation suite, and Associate Professor Angus Buchanan, School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work, for use of facilities in building 108.

A special thank you to the staff who kindly agreed to participate in the filming of simulated scenarios, which included filming a simulated team meeting.
