Open Day a record-breaking success

Despite the temperamental weather, Curtin’s annual Open Day was a fantastic success. On Sunday 31 July, a record-breaking 23,059 visitors braved the wind and rain to find out about the courses Curtin offers, attend information sessions and tour schools and facilities.

The Faculty of Health Sciences’ main marquee and directional marquee were very busy all day, and visitors were excited to visit our schools, meet with staff and participate in the unique activities on offer. Visitors also enjoyed touring the campus, free entertainment and delicious food from various food trucks.

Many staff and students from the Faculty of Health Sciences volunteered to work at Open Day, and showcase all that Curtin has to offer prospective students and ensure the event was a success. The hard work and commitment of our volunteers is much appreciated.
