Nominations for 2016 Alumni Achievement Awards now open
Curtin’s Alumni Achievement Awards recognise Curtin graduates who are making significant contributions to society, through the national or international community, in personal achievements or through their career.
Our graduates regularly distinguish themselves in their chosen careers, and achieve significant success in diverse areas. Some recent successes include Nursing alumna, Dr Susan Slatyer, being awarded the prestigious 2016 Nurse/Midwife of the Year for her research, Occupational Therapy alumnus, Nicholas Maisey’s, nomination for West Australian of the Year for his socially innovative project, Befriend, and Speech Pathology alumnus, Professor Andrew Whitehouse’s, compelling contributions to ASD research. Professor Whitehouse was honoured with the Professional Achievement Award for Health Sciences at the 2015 Alumni Awards.
The awards are now open and there are a number of categories in which alumni can be nominated:
