The hub continues the Faculty’s vision to integrate health research, teaching and practice into an interdisciplinary team-based approach.

The facility also provides a dedicated statistician, IT support and a librarian for students.

“The Faculty of Health Sciences student hub has been operational and in use since February 2011. It is a leading research facility for students. Students study in a secure, safe and research friendly environment. The faculty librarian, biostatistician and ethics officer are available to meet with and advise students in the facility. We encourage our research students to increase use of these excellent and modern facilities.”
