Social Work Student Association
Purpose: The purpose of the Social Work Student Association (SWSA) is to unite past and present social work students through various activities, social events and opportunities.
Aim: SWSA aims to dismantle the year group barriers, in order to allow all social work students to connect and unite as one student body.
Our slogan: Get your social on!
We are predominately a social club but also a place for information sharing, student support, networking and advocacy. We are represented by a committee of current social work students and staff who volunteer their time and effort to ensure social work students’ issues, concerns and perspectives are heard.
Membership is $5.00, and if you are a Guild member there is a club registration voucher (worth $5.00) in your Guild Diary. All you have to do is fill in your particulars behind the voucher and submit it to us or drop it into SWSA drop box located in the SW Resource room
If you have any questions, issues, comments or suggestions or are interested in volunteering some of your time (even if it is to just flip a sausage), please contact SWSA, via e-mail: SWSA.firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on facebook:
