General Practice Research Think Tank
The General Practice Research Think Tank brings together Western Australian experts from general practice and academia to identify future innovations and research.
The Think Tank is led by Curtin University and the Western Australia Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA). The event is open to all GPs, academics and representatives from State Health with an interest in primary care research.
The Think Tank will include a facilitated panel discussion on system issues and innovations in general practice as well as presentations on current research projects, including:
- Clinical trials in cardiovascular conditions
- Overprescribing of antibiotics
- The implementation of HealthPathways in WA
