In July, Curtin health sciences students packed their bags and headed overseas to add some cultural flavour to their fieldwork experience as part of Curtin’s Go Global program. Working with local organisations in Cambodia, China, India and Vietnam, their goal was to develop skills and setup programs that contributed to making communities happier and healthier.

From 2014, students who complete the Go Global ‘Not for Credit’ placement will be eligible for a Curtin Extra Certificate. The Curtin Extra Certificate provides you with official recognition and evidence of significant involvement in co-curricular programs that contribute to university life and to your personal and professional development.
