Getting on Board with The Conversation
Many Curtin academics are already registered and engaging with The Conversation and other academics are being encouraged to consider contributing to this highly regarded online news site.
With stories written by academic experts and edited by professional journalists, The Conversation’s news and current affairs analysis is now read by some 23 million people a month, worldwide.
The site’s aim is to allow for better understanding of current affairs and complex issues and hopefully allow for a better quality of public discourse and conversations.
The Conversation’s WA Editor, Mike Hopkin, will be presenting the next Getting on Board with The Conversation training session on Tuesday 17 October at Curtin University.
He will discuss how to register on the site, what makes a good story, and how to pitch a story to The Conversation.
