Evidence Based Policing internship program

Advertising has commenced for the Semester 2 2017 Internship Program at Evidence Based Policing (EBP). Eligible university students from the disciplines of Criminology, Justice Studies, Behavioural Science and Psychology may apply for a position in the program.

The students will then be selected to undertake one of EBP’s streams of work to gain credit towards their degree, while contributing to EBP objectives.

Topics include

  • analysis of ‘near repeat’ thefts involving motor vehicles
  • deployment trends of alcohol and drug buses
  • designing best practice forecasting and cost-benefit methodologies.

This may be of interest to any area with students wishing to increase research/analytical capabilities/experience.

Applications opened for potential interns on Friday, 21 July 2017 via the Jobs WA website and will close on Wednesday, 9 August 2017. 

The internship will commence on Monday, 4 September for a 10 week duration.
