Relay for life!

Students from the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science were hard at work at the Cancer Council’s recent Relay for Life event, which raises funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services.

The students had an opportunity to practice their massage skills, and raise money for a very worthy cause, by providing the walkers and runners participating in the Relay for Life with much needed foot and calf massages.

Massage sessions ran from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday 29 April, and from 6am to 12 noon on Sunday 30 April, and the team raised approximately $1100.00 for the event.
