National Sorry Day

Friday 26 May was national Sorry Day. Sorry Day is a major event in the Indigenous calendar, which recognises the history of Aboriginal children removed from their families and culture, acknowledges their stories and celebrates the survival of many of the children.

An event to commemorate the day was held at Wellington Square, and attended by the faculty’s Director Indigenous Engagement, Cheryl Davis and Indigenous Engagement Officer, Kristy Indich.
