EOIs sought for mental health research network

Professor Dianne Wynaden, School of Nursing Midwifery and Paramedicine, and Dr Ben Milbourn, School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work, are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from individual and group researchers, who are keen to support the development of a Faculty of Health Sciences mental health research group.

The intention is to provide networking platforms for researchers who are involved in, or supporters of, research in the area of mental health in Western Australia (WA), and to facilitate:

  • relationship building between people with a shared interest in mental health research in WA
  • information sharing related to mental health research in WA
  • the coordination of broader capacity-building activities to support the development of the WA mental health research sector.

The first meeting for building mental health research capacity and networks across the Faculty of Health Sciences will be held on Thursday 10 November 2016 from 12 pm to 1 pm, in Building 108, Room 114.
