Curtin leads international research project

Dr Hani Al-Salami, Curtin’s Health Innovation Research Institute (CHIRI) and the School of Pharmacy, has been appointed the lead investigator in Australia on the MEDLEM project, an international research project which aims to transform drug treatments for patients living with chronic diseases.

Curtin is the only Australian institution selected to take part in the MEDLEM project, which has been funded by the prestigious EU Horizon 2020 grant. Curtin’s application was ranked in the top five per cent worldwide.
