Public Health fieldwork
Fieldwork/clinical placements provide you with important opportunities to learn through direct experience. During placement, you will put your professional role, knowledge and skills into practice in authentic contexts. You will engage with people from diverse backgrounds, including other health professionals you may work alongside in the future.

Health Promotion and Health and Safety Double Degree
As part of your course you will undertake a 100-hour professional placement in workplace health promotion, and complete 200 hours of placements in health and safety. Fieldwork visits will also give you the chance to see health and safety in action.

Health, Safety and the Environment
Students will complete a 100-hour placement in their second year and a 150-hour placement in their third year of their undergraduate degree.

In the field, you will be representing yourself, your course or chosen profession, and Curtin University. You are expected to demonstrate professional attitudes and behaviour at all times.
