Occupational Therapy and Social Work Scholarships

Students can apply for a number of scholarships in the School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work, these include:

Current students

Karina McMullan Memorial Scholarship

Students are invited to apply for this scholarship established by the family of Karina McMullan. Karina studied occupational therapy at Curtin University. The scholarship commemorates her memory and contribution to the profession and is valued at $2000.

The scholarship will provide financial support to students enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) degree to participate in the Go Global program.

The scholarship will be awarded to the student who best demonstrates personal qualities similar to the unique qualities of Karina, which the Memorial Scholarship wishes to honour, namely independence, initiative, drive, resourcefulness, courage and determination.

Suitable applicants will be short listed and interviewed by a panel.

Eligibility to apply

  1. Only students enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) program are eligible to apply. OT GEM students and non-OT students are ineligible.
  2. Recipients of other scholarships related to Go Global cannot be awarded this scholarship.
